Today in science the students learned about the sum of all parts. There were two experiments that they performed. The first had them take some salt and put it in a cup and weigh it. Then they added water to it and weighed it again. The cups were then put aside for later.
The second experiment was to take a bag of Legos and weigh them. Then they built a house with the pieces and weighed the house. It appears that the house weighs the same as the bag of Legos.
Hmmmmmm. I wonder if the same will happen with the salt? I guess we'll find out in about a week or so, when we will do Part II of this experiment.
